Rally Day/Blessing of the Backpacks
On Sunday, July 26, 2026, Our Saviour Lutheran Church will be holding two special events for our congregation.
The Blessing of the Backpacks will take place during worship service. This blessing is for anyone starting the new school year. Both children and adults are welcome to bring their backpacks and receive this blessing.
After worship service, the congregation will be celebrating Rally Day. We will start Rally Day with a scavenger hunt. This scavenger hunt is to test your Bible knowledge and is designed for all ages. Parents are welcome to help children, and folks can team up if they would like. There is a sign-up sheet outside of the kitchen and another one in the main hallway. Please put your name on one of the two sign-up sheets, and let us know how many people to plan for.
Furthermore, a bouncy house will be provided for the kids, and a light lunch will follow the scavenger hunt. This light lunch will consist of sandwiches, some light snacks, and dessert.

Our normal Sunday schedule is as follows: Sunday School: 9:00 a.m.; and Worship Service: 10:00 a.m. Our Saviour Lutheran Church is pleased to provide the live-streaming of its Sunday-morning worship service.
